A Victorian T’uppenny lick. literally two penny lick glass c1870 with a small shallow bowl to hold ice cream purchased from a street vendor. They have fewer calories than a waffle cone or wafer and may be used as part of a calorie controlled diet. An interesting piece of social history that were made illegal in 1898 to reduce the spread of cholera and TB.
Also useful for shots. alcohol works on the inside as well as your hands.
