The decorative style and the lead free glass is all the evidence required. The “white fritt” was a widely deployed decorative technique deployed in Bohemia and Austria and to a lesser extent in Germany. This is frequently and erroneously referred to as crackle glass. one produced by rapid cooling. This decorative style is overshot. it is applied to the surface.

The absence of any pewterers marks or makers marks is consistent with German production. Many glass items produced in Bohemia had the petwer added in Germany.
