Description
A fine example of a Victorian ‘Shaft & Globe’ glass decanter c1870 with has its original facet cut lapidary stopper. the neck cut with notched broad flutes over a band on printie cuts and cut hobnails. Star cut base.
English lead. clean and clear with no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 11 ½ inches tall which includes the stopper and will easily hold a modern bottle of wine.
