Additional Information : Established by John Robert Lucas in 1788 the Nailsea glassworks was operational in Somerset. England until 1873. Theis type of decoration is invariably described as being Nailsea or Nailsea type as not all were made in Nailsea. This has an equal probability of being manufactured in Alloa .This example is cased and the spigot and upper half has clear and white glass pulled up decoration below the  cranberrey and clear outer case. This is most unusual and a testament to the skill of those who fashioned this.
