Georgian Potsdam Engraved Trichterpokal c1700

Description

An engraved trichterpokal  ( funnel cup) wine glass made around 1700.

It has a large conical bowl beautifully engraved with cornucopias of flowers. each basket being unique.set between rows of large polished printie cuts. Blade knop to the base of the bowl above a large central Inverted baluster knop. Large conical foot with rough snapped pontil. 

German Potsdam in origin. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 7 ¾ inches tall with a 4 ¼ inch bowl and 5 1/8 inch foot.
