A fantastic Tudric cigar box. or cigarette box. Although this is not marked Tudric. the presence of the Solkets mark and a Tudric pattern number confirms the attribution. Birmingham was famous for it’s shellworkers. ironically for a city so far from the sea. hence the beautiful detail of the abalone decoration.
