Moorcroft Pottery Post 1945
The custodianship of the Moorcroft pottery, W Moorcroft Limited, was handed to Walter Moorcroft shortly before his father, William Moorcroft, passed away in 1945.
Walter continued in his father’s footsteps producing a
fantastic range of Moorcroft designs in their inimitable style. Moorcroft
pottery patterns are instantly recognisable and remain very popular with collectors. Scottish Antiques stock a
wide range of old rare Moorcroft pottery for sale and our chairman, Eric
Knowles, is a world
leading authority on Moorcroft and how to value Moorcroft
pottery from all periods. Eric is a director at Moorcroft.
