SOLD – French Glass Spirt Decanter c1910

Description

An excellent continental spirit decanter c1910 which has its original ground stopper with gilt gilt ball stopper.  Banded  decoration down the neck.This is very reminiscent of Hoffman and Lobmeyr designs of tyhe same period. The gilded ball stopper was used by both French and Bohemian producers from the late 18th century with identical shape decanters. The lead content works against the Bohemian alternative

Lead glass. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 8 ¼ inches tall.
