Additional Information : An original Viking carafe in a rich cobalt blue designed by Danish Ole Winther in 1955 for Holmegaard. This series of carafes were made in a rough style to emulate ancient hand-blown glass and so includes internal bubbles and external ripples in the glass. It has a hand-formed lustred pouring spout and a hand-pressed seal/medallion. This carafe was discontinued in 1976.
