Condition: VF+, a rare and sought after piece. A beautiful patina has developed to the surface. Signs of wear as consistent with its age, such as scratches and some surface pitting.
Description: A fine bronze socketed axe head featuring a rectangular body which extends to a slightly curved cutting edge on one side and a wide, scooped mouth on the other. It has been further enriched by a moulded collar to one side.
