The tall funnel shaped bowl is  cut with three flowers and then bordered with lens and star cuts.  The stem has a five thread  ruby red twist which is mirrored in the finial.  The cover sits comfortably within the mouth of the goblet but we believe that it may be a marriage. albeit an excellent one.

Gisela Haase in Scchsisches Glas gives dates for very similar examples with the same colour twist stems produced in Dresden from “before 1722” to 1734.
