Additional Information : The quality and style of the cutting indicates that this rinser was most probably made in Ireland. The substantial weight of the rinser also points in this direction .the Excise free Irish did not have to worry about such matters. Finally the colour. it is not very well known that the Irish produced a many items of coloured glass. An example of a rare early Irish dish in a beautiful blue can be seen in Coloured Glass By Keith Middlemas – Page 44. The museum of Ireland has many items of Irish coloured glass within their collection
