Decoration : The hinged cover with simulated planished effect inset with a large oval enamelled plaque depicting a sail boat against a vibrant sunset most probably by Charles Fleetwood Varley  The underside stamped 0886 and incised with workmens marks. the interior lined with cedar wood
Size :  Height 5.5cm. length 11.5cm and depth 9cm

Lined with cedar wood this was almost certainly intended for cigars.
