Colour : Green and gilt ‘feather edged’ moulding to the rim; polychrome enamels of extravagant birds and insects to the cavetto and well
Condition : Very Good; some gilt loss; enamels are bright and largely intact; some wear commensurate with age; to the underside – small areas of kiln-spit inside the foot-rim; there is a 13cm section of the extreme edge of the rim where the glaze has been lost or was not adhered fully during manufacture which has now taken on a somewhat dirty appearance
