SOLD – Worcester Flight and Barr Cup and Saucer c1800

Description

A “Worcester shape” cup with ring handle and stepped profile.

This is beautifully decorated and gilded with holly leaves and flying insects.

Both cup and saucer carry the incised “B” mark used by the Flight and Barr partnership from 1792 to 1807. It is in good condition but there is some minor wear to the gilding on the saucer. It displays beautifully. No chips or cracks.
