Chamberlains Worcester Soup Plate With Crest

A beau-bleu border with a gadrooned gilt rim with palmettes and scallop shells. The centre of the plate decorated with a family crest ( unidentified). Motto “Loyal au mort”. An identical example is held by the British Museum

There are three very fine stress cracks on the reverse and a 3mm flake to the underside of the rim. This is very much reflected in the price
