Marks : Blue “species names” on the reverse
Origin : Derby. England
Colour : Polychrome
Pattern : Henbane and Rhododendrum Ponticum, Violet Coloured Rose Bay
Features : Gilded leaf pattern and fluted moulding to border.
Condition : No chips. Some rubbing to the gilding. There is a semi-circular hairline crack on the Rose Bay that traverses the plate from the rim and across the foot string where it terminates as it curves back to the foot string

It is well known that not all pieces on pattern 115 dinner services bear Derby crossed swords marks. Some may have been externally decorated. We have sold multiple marked examples with identical moulding and gilding
