Eric Knowles Comments
The Simple Yet Perfect Teapot was designed by Lord Dundonad and was made by Wedgwood from 1907 until 1921. To quote Maureen Batkin ‘The main feature being a perforated shelf on which the tea is placed. To infuse the tea the teapot is tilted backwards onto the two rests and the water added. After infusing the teapot is returned to its normal position. Thus seperating the leaves from the tea’. The best solutions are always the simplest
