Description
This is an excellent Georgian Ale Glass which dates to 1800.
This is one of the rarer forms. having a long Deceptive Bowl which holds less Ale than a standard bowl (keeps you sober). Remember Ale 200 years ago was much stronger than even modern super strength brews. Blade knop at the base of bowl above a Capstan Stem with a conical foot and rough snapped pontil. English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 4 3/4 inches tall with a 2 1/8 inch bowl and 2 3/8 inch foot.
