An Outstanding Georgian Opaque Twist Firing Glass which dates to 1760.
If has an Ogee Bowl above a Double Series Opaque Twist Stem consisting of a Pair of Spiral Tapes outside a Lace Twist. A VERY thick Firing Fooot with a rough snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 4 ½ inches tall with a 1 7/8 inch bowl and 3 inch foot.
This glass has one of the best Firing Foots we have ever seen on this form being over an inch winder than the bowl and over ½ inch thick at the edge.
