Description
A wonderful Georgian Masonic Firing Glass which dates to 1780.
It has a trumpet bowl engraved with compass and set square and stands on a thick flanged firing foot with polished pontil.
There is a tiny tiny pin prick on the rim (size of a pin head) which is probably a tooth mark and does not affect the glass in any way.
English lead. it measure 3 5/8 inches tall with a 2 1/4 inch bowl and 2 1/4 inch foot.
For its size. this is a nice heavy weight example.
