Colour : Blue frosted glass with polychrome enamelling
Bowl : Enamelled with anemone flower. One of the flowering buds dying, another is just opening and one in full bloom. This represents the stages of life.
Pontil : Polished
Glass Type : Lead free
Size : 19.5cm
Condition : No chips or cracks. A 6cm scratch in the acid matt neck area to the right of the open bloom

This piece is unsigned but is in the catalogue Verrerie Artistique Populaire Francais Pg. 292. “Lamartine” refers to the shape of the vase and anemonies were a common nouveau theme.
