The technique of painting onto the outer layer of cased glass was deployed extensively by D’Argental/ St Louis. Arsall. Muller Freres. Mont Joye/ Legras between 1920 and 1930. The shape of vase was used extensively by Mont Joye and Arsall.
This is by Verreries St Denis. It will have marketed under either the Mont Joye brand rather than Legras or D’Argental. it resembles so many Paul Nicolas designs. the former chief designer at Galle.
