Bowl Features : Clasically inspired form reminiscent of greek urns. The effect is achieved using emerald green glass and applying metallic compounds to produce the outstanding iridescence.

The patent application was submitted in August 1877 and was granted in February 1878. The desire was to imitate glass that has accrued natural iridescence when buried for a milleniam or two. This was achieved via exposure to the fumes produced by strontium. barium and tin chlorides and oxides in the kiln.
