Pattern : ‘Canine and Foliate’
Bowl : A cup bowl with an everted rim enamelled with white running dogs. mint green foliage with yellow/blue/red flowers. Applied tear trailing to the lower bowl.
Stem : A ‘Sherbet’ knop decorated with mint green enameled leaves
Foot : Conical with enameled decoration
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead free crystal
Size : 23.6cm tall with a 27.2cm bowl and a 13.5cm foot
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks

Additional Information :
This ‘Canine and Foliate’ pattern by Ludwig Moser is based on a similar 16th century Spanish design. Manufactured in Italy by Salviati the glass was then sent to Bohemia for decoration. Ludwig Moser designed many patterns for other manufacturers before he began producing his own glass.
A dessert bowl or compote that would be wonderful as afruit bowl. A highly decorative piece manufactured by two of thr greatest names in European glass making history.
