Additional Information : Typically engraved bee’s on drinking glasses of this period when combined with other significant engravings are associated with the Jacobites. known then as Jacobite sympathy glasses. However we do not class this opaque twist as one of these glasses. instead we wish to highlight the irregularity and significance in the combination of engravings. the bee accompanied by fruiting vine is a rarity in itself and the first of its kind we have had on offer
