Condition : Excellent – the piece missing behind his left ear is from manufacture and is simply due to the shape of the rock from which the piece was sculpted – light wear to base only

This is a truly remarkable piece of work. To find a Blue John bust of this size and quality is a rare thing indeed.
Records show that a quantity of Blue John was exported to southern Cornwall to be worked. The base and the mounting are clearly the work of a jeweller, or other skilled artisan.
