Pattern : Enamelled farming scenes within gilt borders.
Features: The thimble unscrews to reveal a compartment for needles. or possibly perfume. Opening the centre section reveals the storage space for bodkins.
Condition :Excellent. a 4mm scratch to the enamel and a couple of very fine hairline cracks bellow the screw top thimble
Restoration : The stopper for the upper section is a replacement and does not fit. We have secured this in place with a little clear tape around the spigot for the purpose of the images. Our restorer can create a new spigot if required such that this will fit correctly
