A classic Art Deco match book case with engine turned decoration.  Personally engraved inscription ‘B.B. from F.C.T. March 1929′.

We believe BB to be Denys Watkins-Pitchford the naturalist and illustrator. we all remember “Bill Badgers Big Mistake” .FCT we believe to be Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe the bird painter. They were known to be good friends. Tunnicliffe referred to himself as Frederick Charles.
