Decoration : Union jacks. pyramids. St Pauls..and Text ” The Sun Never Sets On The British Empire” Makers mark on base ‘Made in Beldray England’
Size :  Height 28.5cm
Condition : A little discolouration to the handles. Two small dings
Restoration : None
Weight :  265grams

We no longer celebrate Empire Day on 24th May but this was not the case well into the 1950s. This was probably made to celebrate the silver jubilee of George V in 1935. With the spirit of St George in all our hearts this would be the ideal gift for the patriot on April 24th.
