Condition : Tiny nibble to rim; manufacturing mould mark to neck and 90mm annealing crack which in no way impairs the functionality of the bottle;

Bilton Hall near Harrogate passed to the Watson family when purchased by John – a solicitor from Malton – in 1742. He married Hannah Bagwith. and had four daughters (Elizabeth. Jane. Hannah and Mary) and two sons – John and George. the latter of whom became a Captain. married Clementina Kennedy and is shown in this painting:
