Description
A superb large Georgian Sweetmeat Glass which dates to c1750.
It has a wide rib moulded bowl with scallop cutting. An eight sides pedestal stem with diamonds on the shoulders with mereses above and below.
It sits on a domed rib moulded and folded foot.
It stands 5 3/4 inches tall with a 6 inch bowl and a 4 1/8th inch foot.
One of the scalloped edged on the bowl has had a very small chip removed at some time in the past and this is a little thinner that the others. This does not affect the aesthetic qualities of the glass.
