Heading : An Orange Order Engraved Glass Goblet

Bowl : Lipped round funnel. Engraved with a band of fruiting vines above a cartouche or thistles and roses ( note the absence of shamrocks) with monogram JH. Opposite two hands clasped in greeting below “MAID OF ERIN LODGE 517”
Stem : Slice cut with large blade merese . angular knop and cushion
Foot : Undercut radial
Glass Type : Lead
Size :  Height 17.5cm. bowl 10.5 and foot 10.3
Condition : Excellent

References : Lanes Masonic records show that lodge 517 was never known as Erin or Maid. The Orange Order have confirmed that there was an Lodge bearing this name.
