Body : Ribbed globular body with a tapering cylindrical neck leading to a flared conical and folded rim
Glass Type : ‘Soda-lime’
Size : 12.7cm tall and 7.7cm in diameter
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks
Restoration : None
Weight : 102 grams
I’m afraid that I can add little to this description. Even the antiquities department at the National Museums Scotland were unable to provide much insight other that the dating. It may have been for scented oil or even for funerary purposes.
