Bowl : A round funnel bowl engraved with an agricultural scene with hayricks and farm buildings
Stem : A complex stem formation comprised of flattened ball knops cushion knops and a quatrefoil knop. all separated by multiple disc knops
Foot : Conical and folded
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Soda
Size : Height 24cm. bowl 9.8cm. foot 11.8cm
Condition : Very good. annealing cracks to the base of the bowl from manufacture and one small bust air bubble in the quatrefoil knop
Restoration : None
Weight : 414 grams
The engraving is most probably an allegory for the renewed prosperity in the late 17th century following the turbulence of war in the region.
