Colour : Burned orange, cut to clear.
Stopper : Domed with long spigot
Neck : Tapered cut to clear
Body : Conical with geometric cutting
Base : Stepped with polished pontil.
Glass Type : Lead.
Size : 39.5cm to top of stopper
Condition : Excellent, light wear on the underside only. No chips or cracks
Restoration : Professionally cleaned.
Weight : 1614grams
There is no signature on this Saint Louis decanter. This was produced before 1930, the first year that acid etched marks were used by Saint Louis. This is very similar to the Massenet cutting pattern and is in the identical colourway to examples with that cutting pattern.
