Decoration : All over chased design showing a boy and girl scrumping with a sign beneath them reading ‘XX York’ and a sign above them reading ‘BEWARE OF THE DOG.” In the background a church is visible. Parcel gilt underside of cover and glass stopper.

Condition : Good – there are a few compressions around rim of the base and cover, and one just behind the hinge which is the most significant.
