Date : Hallmarked in London in 1771 for John Parker I & Edward Wakelin
Period : George III
Origin : London, England
Decoration : Pie crust rims and repousse ribbed border. Central crest with lion rampant surrounded by HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE and topped with a coronet.
Size :  Height cm. base diameter cm
Condition : Excellent, light wear only with scattered faint scratches and a little softening to the high points. Makers mark rather rubbed but still identifiable.
Restoration : None
Weight :  490 grams (15.75 troy troy)

Honi Soit is of course most closely associated with the Order of the Garter. Any member is permitted to use the motto around their own crest.
