Bowl : Conical with elaborate prism and fine fine diamond cutting. The style is clearly modelled on earlier Wrythen moulded ale glasses
Stem :Faceted ball knop, slice cut capstan.
Foot : Conical
Pontil : 32 point radial cut pattern
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 15.2cm height, 6.6cm diameter bowl, 6.8cm diameter foot
Condition : Very good – two minor flake chips to underside along with a few fleabites
Restoration : None
Weight: 239 grams
A very unusual glass. The cutting style immediately brought Baccarat to mind but given the unevenness of the radial cuts to the base and the fact that this is lead glass we don’t feel attribution is appropriate.
