Description
We have an excellent large Victorian Cut Glass Rummer which dates to around 1870.
Based on the quality of the cut. it’s almost certainly a Benjamin Richardson example who was the founder of one of the top glass houses in Stourbridge England. It has a large Cup Bowl which has been superbly cut around the lower half with large printie cuts and large diamond facets. Sits on a slice cut baluster stem above a star cut foot.
English lead. it measures an impressive 6 ¾ inches tall with a 4 inch bowl. No chips cracks or restoration and a real heavy weight glass.
