Rim : Three-way deep crimped rim
Body : Cranberry with internal pulled white trailing
Pontil : Polished

Size : 8.5cm tall and approximately 20 cm in diameter

Similar bowls are often sold as Samuel Clarke fairy lamp bases. The only fairy light glass bases we have seen are circular to receive a glass dome. It is also tempting to state that this is Nailsea-like and this too would be eroneous. This is by Thomas Webb or Stevens & Williams and should be described as verre moiré. Similar designs were produced by Northwood. Stuart and Chance.
