Similar bowls are often sold as Samuel Clarke fairy lamp bases. The only fairy light glass bases we have seen are circular to receive a glass dome. It is also tempting to state that this is Nailsea-like and this too would be eroneous. This is by Thomas Webb or Stevens & Williams and should be described as verre moiré.
