Description
As plain stem tall ale glasses go. this is one of the very best. Firstly it has a funnel bowl. the majority of taller examples are drawn trumpet.
The bowl has excellent dark metal. It is engraved with typical hops in bud and ears of barley in saltire. It has a fine long plain stem and a conical folded foot. snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips. cracks or restoration. It stands a magnificent 7 inches tall with a 2 inch bowl and a 3 inch foot. This merits inclusion in any collectors cabinet.
