SOLD – Georgian Regency Red Ale Glass c1820

Description

An exceptionally rare Georgian ale glass in regency red. It has a tall round funnel bowl above a short plain stem and conical foot with a polished pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 ¾ inches tall with a 2 3/16 inch bowl and 2 13/16 inch foot.

This is the first regency red ale glass we have had in 12 years and we have only seen one other example outside of a museum.
