Decoration : The stand has two inkwells. each with geometric stickware covers. a pen tray with a perspective cube patterned cover with keylines and a small compartment (often used for stamps etc.) between the inkwells with a foliate mosaic cover. The side panels with berlin woolwork floral banding. Four applied bun feet.

Condition : Good. there is some lifting to the berlin woolwork band and a one of the stickwear covers to the inkwells is loose.

Weight :  900 grams

Although we have been unable to find an exact match for this design we feel confident in attributing it to Boyce. Brown. and Kemp who were known to produce writing and desk stands in a number of designs. The mosaic on the compatment between the inkwells in particularly typical of their style.
