They introduced the use of compressed air into glass houses. This not only improved rates of production but also promoted the creation of some innovative shapes. This glass is very much in the facon Venise and is a hommage to 16th and 17th century Venetian glass. Along with others such as Salviati in Murano. Daum in France and Rhenanes d’Ehrenfeld in Germany they produced glass to satisfy demand during the renaissance revival of the late 19th century.
