Bowl : Cylinder. Applied ribbon handle

Size : 22cm height. 9.4 cm diameter bowl. 11.6cm diameter foot
Condition :No chips or cracks . The pewter lid depite being dated is a relatively modern replacement.
Restoration : The lid has been replaced
Weight: 803grams
Old pewter is always brittle. This is due to the change in structure of the tin within the alloy.The lid has obviously perished and been replaced. The glass however is in very good order and in undoubtedly late 18th century. This has been tried and tested. The capacity is 1 1/2 pints
