It is difficult to say whether this pari of antique glass jars are English or antique Irish glass. They are very heavy and have a grey blue hue indicative of high lead content. The hue is associated with Irish glass from the period. though this is not enough to say they are certainly Irish. The cutting is of a very high standard thus may have been undertaken in North-West England. Probably either honey or preserve jars. A beautiful antique alternative to modern mason jars or canning jars.
