Additional Information: Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja or The Royal Factory of Glass and Crystal of La Granja was established in 1727 by Philip V of Spain. The factory is renowned for its gilding style although no named gilders are attributed to the work.

La Granja is a somewhat abused attribution in that amateurs in the subject tend to use this to describe any piece even those gilded in the facon boheme. This example is absolutely typical of the La Garanja style of gilding seen in multiple museum examples and as such is a very desirable piece. Very rare to find such a piece in green glass although they are documented
