The James Giles atelier decoration of porcelain is well known. However record show that he also decorated glass. Andy McConnel advises that as much as a quarter of his total output was glass. This is the second of two examples we have ever offered for sale. The last example we know of on the market was a polychrome one with a case and it realised £7500 at auction. The Corning museum has a few examples without gold tops.
