Period : George IV
Origin : Ireland most probably Cork
Colour : Clear. dark metal high lead hue
Bowl : Vesica cut star base with further vesica cuts on the rims underside. A very broad scallop and inverted scallop cut rim
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 3.6cm tall and 25cm in diameter
Condition : Excellent. some grazing and one slither chip on the rim measiring 12mm at its widest extent
Restoration : None
Weight : 1364 grams
This has a deep well and broad horizontal flat rim. The rim is very thick and the base even more so. This may passibly have been intended to be used as a decanter stand but we believe a dish for serving chiled desserts more likely. This is a very rare survivor
